Author Missing In Action
– Steven Savile
This is a really brief one - an apology at that. The last 8 weeks have seen me zipping about the globe being all pretend authory for a while with cons and schmoozing… but real life has hit back with a sucker punch. This is a windy way of saying that my 10th of October essay just won’t be ready in time. I’ve got to clear 20,000 words of the new book for the end of next week, and as us IP writers know, late delivery clauses can be a bugger. So much for pretending to be an author - gotta go and DO it now.
I’ll be back next month.
I had hoped we could snag a guest, but at this late notice it’s not possible. So please, forgive me.
See you again next month when I might just moan about late delivery clauses
Steve

You posted a real life, authory-type glimpse into your life…I’d hardly call that Missing in Action. I’d say that is as much ‘from the inside out’ as it gets.
Good luck with that deadline.
Steve (and all of you) Let me know if you have trouble putting something together. I have a couple “on the sidelines” just in case - and this month, I know at least one other person missed their date, but had their post ready, so we can help one another out.
Good luck on the deadline!
