I’m sorry to say that because of an approaching deadline, and an increasingly crazy work schedule, I don’t have an essay to offer this time. Instead, I’d like to recommend
The Pontifications of Maurice Broaddus, AKA The Sinister Minister. It’s one of my favorites.
I also hope you’ll take a look at my new book,
At The Foothills of Frenzy & Other Freakish Forays, co-authored with Shane Ryan Staley and Mark McLaughlin. Certainly the strangest project I’ve ever been involved with, but great fun. I just got my copies today, and am very impressed with the quality of Solitude’s first book.
See you next month with a new essay.

Thanks for stopping by. [g] Looked at the sites you
recommend. Foothills must have been a lot of fun to put together. The “blurbs” are hilarious. Any money in it for you, or was it purely a labor of love? –Janet

Think I could get a review copy of this Foothills thing?

Hey Janet.
Foothills was a lot of fun. Everything form the blurbs, the cover, and the stories were done mostly for a laugh.
And we did get paid, which is certainly a bonus. I have high hopes that Solitude will become one of the more respected and collected limited edition publishers
Hey Jeff.
The lady to contact for a review copy is Jade Rumsey (jade0319@twmi.rr.com).
