<description>Sounds like one hungry novel. Always liked the metaphor of a witch's cauldron, myself. Just stand there plopping in the strangest assortment of stuff and watching it all bubble up in reaction.
And that Sawney Bean ... he does get around, doesn't he? Since you're feeding the novel music, have you ever heard the Sol Invictus song "Sawney Bean"?</description>

		<description>@ Sully:
actually once a novel I was working on had and indigestion (it was criminology then, the works of Cesare Lombroso in particular) and it was... well, pretty painful. But it was my fault, definitely – it was the only time I tried to tell a story what *exactly* it had to eat. And the novel didn’t like it a bit. It currently lies bleeding and pissed off at me and unfinished in a drawer and sometimes I feel damn sorry for it. It was my fault, not the novel’s. I know better now. I let them eat just anything they want to.

@ Dave:
Depeche Mode and Concrete Blonde feeding a novel? Whoa, man! What novel was that? It must have been very, very happy about the menu... :-)

<description>I recognize this menu. When your stories start to eat everything in the pantry, your imagination is on a ramble. You are cooking with freedom and spontaneity. I call it "rave mode." Love your unfettered mind, Matteo. So, what do you do when a story gets indigestion?

<description>Hey Matteo ... interesting. I had a novel eat most of the works of Concrete Blonde and Depeche Mode, so I think I know where you are coming from...
