And that Sawney Bean ... he does get around, doesn't he? Since you're feeding the novel music, have you ever heard the Sol Invictus song "Sawney Bean"? Sounds like one hungry novel. But it was my fault, definitely – it was the only time I tried to tell a story what *exactly* it had to eat. And the novel didn’t like it a bit. It currently lies bleeding and pissed off at me and unfinished in a drawer and sometimes I feel damn sorry for it. It was my fault, not the novel’s. I know better now.
