Joe recently created an account for us on the “blogroll” at The Metaxu Cafe - a literary blog community. One of the services provided to members is a scroll of headlines from the various blogs (and there are hundreds) who belong to the site. Not all are as active as this one. When a new post goes active here, and Joe updates the RSS feed, or the automatic ping does it for him, our new post jumps into the lineup at Metaxu and scrolls slowly down the page as new headlines come in - it’s usually there a few hours each time a new post is added. This allows all members of the Metaxu community to view the header and a few lines of the post and to click that link to come over and read. This opens us up to an entirely new (and quite large) community of authors, readers, critics and bloggers.

As a side note, our Technorati rank today, out of almost 2,000,000 blogs they check daily, is about 21,000. We have more than 200 links from 87 seperate Internet sites to posts on our blog. Joe is working to find a way to provide even more statistics, but I wanted to put up this note to let you know all the time and effort put into this blog are not wasted effort. You can visit the Metaxu Cafe by clicking the linked box below our names on the right.

This has been a community (storytellersunplugged community) announcement…we now return you to your regularly scheduled blog.
