That is one thing you are, most certainly. That was an amazing introductory piece. Your dilemma at the library with Dracula was sort of the opposite of my own experience with a High School teacher who left Vonegutt’s “The Sirens of Titan” on the shelf for us to read and do book reports about. I read it and almost required her to give me a written statement to the fact that I was not going to be punished for writing about what was in the book (heh). Luckily, she proved a forward thinker.
I loved those old afternoon horror movies…and werewolves continue to be an enduring, and powerful image…
Thank you. That is wonderful. I’m so happy that you’ve joined us. –13
A BOOK He ate and drank the precious words, His spirit grew more robust; He knew no more that he was poor Nor that his frame was dust. He danced along the dingy days, And this bequest of wings Was but a book. What liberty A loosened spirit brings!

A BOOK
He ate and drank the precious words,
His spirit grew more robust;
He knew no more that he was poor
Nor that his frame was dust.
He danced along the dingy days,
And this bequest of wings
Was but a book. What liberty
A loosened spirit brings!
